How do I create an account?
Visit the public site and choose Sign Up. Enter your work email, create a password, and verify your email address. Once verified you can either create a new organization profile or request to join an existing one.
Why do I need to join or create an organization?
Every listing and RFQ is tied to an organization. Joining ensures your activity, messaging, and scores map to the correct company profile. Owners can invite teammates from the Organization panel.
Do I need two-factor authentication (2FA)?
2FA is mandatory for users with admin privileges and strongly recommended for everyone else. Enable it from My Profile → Security in the organization panel. You will scan a QR code with an authenticator app and confirm a 6-digit code.
Organization Management
What happens after I submit my organization for approval?
New organizations enter a short review. Admin moderators confirm your details, then mark your org as approved. You will receive an in-app notification and email once approved. Until then you can fill in data but cannot publish resources publicly.
How do I update our organization profile?
From the organization panel, open Organization → Profile. Update general info, sustainability data, certifications, and locations. Changes auto-save when you submit, and scores recalculate shortly after.
Can multiple teammates manage the same organization?
Yes. Owners can invite teammates under Organization → Members. Assign roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer) to control access. Invitations send an email with a secure join link.
Resource Listings
How do I list a resource?
Navigate to Resources → Create Resource. Complete the material details, pricing or availability, logistics, and upload media. Save as draft until ready. When you choose Submit for review, the listing enters moderation.
What do the resource statuses mean?
Draft: editable only by your team.Pending: submitted and awaiting moderator review.Approved: publicly visible in the catalog and searchable.Rejected: returned with reviewer notes. Update the listing and resubmit.
Can I edit an approved listing?
Yes. Editing moves the listing back to pending if the change needs review. Minor edits like typo fixes may stay live, but substantial updates trigger re-approval.
How is our resource score calculated?
Resource scores combine your provided sustainability attributes, certifications, and completeness of data. Each component has a weight defined by the QFZ scoring model. Adding verified certifications and detailed impact metrics boosts the score.
RFQs & Messaging
How do buyers contact us?
Interested buyers send a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the resource page. You will see new RFQs in Inbox and receive notifications. Reply within the thread to discuss quantities, pricing, and logistics.
Can we initiate conversations with buyers?
You can respond to any RFQ thread and share documents or clarifications. Outbound cold messages to buyers are not available yet; use RFQ responses to continue the conversation.
Notifications & Support
Where do I see notifications?
The bell icon in the top bar shows in-app notifications (approvals, RFQs, invites). Click a notification to open the related record. Mark them as read or clear the list from the notification modal.
Why am I not receiving email alerts?
Check your spam folder first. Ensure your organization profile has the correct contact emails and that you have verified your address. If the issue persists, contact support with your organization name and affected email.
How do I report a problem or get help?
Use Help → Contact Support inside the panel or email support@qfz.app. Include screenshots, resource IDs, or RFQ numbers when possible so the team can assist quickly.
